Field Trips

Educational field trips are great enhancements to classroom learning. They appeal to all students and make learning fun. Please remember that field trips are a privilege and they are expensive. Whenever possible, fees will be kept to a minimum and transportation will be by chartered bus.

Each class is allowed at least one educational field trip during the year. Students will usually travel by chartered bus. If this is not the case, a specific permission slip will contain the important information. Parents chaperones must have fingerprint clearance, Shield the vulnerable certification, and adequate liability insurance when driving students on field trips. The amount of liability insurance required will be stated on the insurance verification form. All students must be contained in a seat belt. Parents who agree to chaperone may not bring other children or adults on the field trips.
